At the invitation of Sicredi Pioneira and Sebrae, the Gaúcha Branch of the Instituto Capitalismo Consciente Brasil (ICCB) mediated the chat “Conscious practices and ESG”, at the 32nd edition of Mercopar, the largest industrial innovation fair in Latin America, held in Caxias do Sul.
The conversation took place this Tuesday (17), on the first day of the event, and brought together, in addition to the co-leader of ICCB-Branch RS, Eliane Davila, the Environment coordinator at Marcopolo, Eliana Zanol, the Environment engineer at Randon , Taíse Gotardo, and the Executive Director of Sicredi Pioneira, Solon Stahl.
“Talking about sustainability, ESG and conscious practices is talking about the future of business, not only because companies that adopt these practices are better prepared to face challenges and opportunities in a world increasingly concerned with these issues, but because Businesses have a responsibility to accelerate the ESG agenda in Brazil and around the world”, highlighted Eliane Davila.
During the chat, held on the stage of the Mercopar Innovation space, guests shared experiences about implementing conscious practices and the ESG agenda within companies, reporting challenges faced on this journey, as well as lessons learned and success stories, with examples from environmental and also social and governance areas.
The relevance of raising the awareness of business leaders to promote more sustainable actions, with ethics and transparency, aiming to build a better future and the search for a genuine purpose with a positive impact were also other topics discussed during the panel.
