With the goal of filling 300 job vacancies in more than 20 companies, Gravataí City Hall is promoting the third edition of the Employability Fair on October 31st. The event will be held at Parque dos Anjos, from 9am to 5pm in the hall of the Cristo Rei Church, on Avenida Antônio Gomes Corrêa, 245.
The distribution of forms for forwarding to companies will take place until 2pm. Salaries for the vacancies offered vary, on average, from R$2,000 to R$3,000, but there are lower and higher salaries.
“The Employment Fair is in line with the project we have for the city. We want to guarantee quality of life for the population and employment is part of that. Having an action like this within the neighborhoods is a way of bringing the population closer to the availability of vacancies”, says the mayor of Gravataí, Luiz Zaffalon.
RH Brasil is the company that will offer the most opportunities, some of them for cities neighboring Gravataí. According to the Secretary of Family, Citizenship and Social Assistance, Artêmio Airoldi, there are also vacancies for the new Farmácias São João distribution center, which was opened in Gravataí. GM will participate in the event to create a database for future vacancies.
CV, work card and clothing
During the Employability Fair, other services will be offered on site, including the creation of a Work Card. In addition, there will be a linen service with a solidarity hanger, which will provide items of clothing to be donated to candidates.
The suggestion is that each interested party bring their resume ready to the fair. Anyone who needs help should go from Monday to Friday at the Social Promotion sector of the City Hall, on Avenida Ely Corrêa, 675.

Month after month, the Gravataí Employment Fair grows and is already a reference for those looking for work, as it attracts residents of the city and neighboring municipalities. As it also has vacancies offered by renowned companies inside and outside Brazil, this City Hall project is highlighted in the state media and has also been the subject of news broadcasts shown on national television.
Held in July, the second edition of the fair brought together more than a thousand people at Amoval’s headquarters, in Morada do Vale I. In total, 25 companies received resumes for the 700 job vacancies available.
In the first edition, in the Center, more than 2 thousand people participated.
