Felipe Hintze, actor who became known for his character in the first season of Verdades Secretas, launched an exclusive collection with Longford, a plus size men’s clothing brand. The VERANO HINTZE collection features 13 pieces, including shirts, tank tops and shorts, from sizes G1 to G7 and shirts from 05 to 14, all made with the idea of valuing the fat body, based on the experiences that Felipe brought to the brand’s creative team. .
Among the materials chosen are shirts in Fio 50 Cotton with a linen-like weave, tank tops in ECO³ Cotton, certified and produced in an entirely sustainable cycle. The color palette is more neutral, with colors that match other pieces, as well as a tropical print, with four timeless designs.
“Little by little, I began to understand that I could take my experience as a fat man to other levels, not just speaking in interviews or addressing these issues in my characters. It is very challenging to find pieces that have good models, a fit made for us, and that actually have more fashion information. With the growth of the plus size fashion market, I was very happy to receive this invitation and dove in completely to create VERANO HINTZE with them.”
Felipe participated in all creative stages, bringing which pieces he wanted to see in his collection, as well as his color references, modeling and choice of fabrics. In the process, he participated in all approvals, with a careful eye for details, carrying out several tests to get the modeling and fit right.
