The Uniftec University Center is promoting AgroVet Day, an event that aims to strengthen integration with the community. The event will take place on October 21st, from 9am to 1pm, at the Escola Superior de Agronomia, Veterinária e Ambiente (ESAVA), located at the Ana Rech unit.
AgroVet Day activities
AgroVet Day will feature a series of activities related to Agronomy, Agribusiness Management and Veterinary Medicine courses. Among the scheduled activities are the Dog Adoption Fair, in partnership with the Municipal Secretariat for the Environment (SEMMA) of Caxias do Sul, and a campaign to collect food for animals affected by the floods in the state.
Focus on Social and Environmental Responsibility
The event will also have a special focus on social and environmental responsibility. There will be registration for castrations with affordable prices and technical guidelines for preventing breast cancer in pets. In addition, workshops on sustainability will be held.
Get to know ESAVA
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the structure of ESAVA and the work of professionals trained in the areas of Agrarian and Veterinary at Uniftec. According to the course coordinator, Dr. Fernanda Flores, the event will be rich in knowledge and important practices of the institution’s day-to-day operations.
