Caxias do Sul will hold the Children’s Festival 2023 this Saturday (14), on Rua Plácido de Castro, from 2pm until 5pm. The party was scheduled for Thursday (12), but bad weather caused the date to be postponed.
Families will be able to enjoy moments of fun with several free activities for the kids, such as distribution of popcorn and cotton candy, as well as spaces for games, inflatable toys, shows, games, painting and much more.
There will be 24 stations for recreational, sporting, educational, cultural and health activities, which will occupy the entire length of Plácido de Castro Street, between the intersections with Pedro Tomasi and dos Farrapos Streets, in the Exhibition District.
The main stage will feature a lineup full of attractions, through the Municipal Secretariat of Culture with support from the Municipal Secretariat of Tourism: choreographed dance shows, Gaucho dances and Brazilian folklore, storytelling and sung stories, theatrical and musical narrative games, performances circuses, clowns and jugglers, magic shows, acrobatics and unicycles.
To top it off, kids and families will have a luxurious opportunity to secure that photo for the post with the sovereigns of the Festa da Uva 2024, who will be circulating around the space.
Proconlândia, organized by Procon, will have 10 inflatable toy options for small consumers. There will be several face painting points and many office mascots making the little ones happy.
The Toy Station of the Municipal Department of Sport and Leisure will have an arsenal of trampolines, domino and giant chess pieces and boards, trail, checker, memory and old-fashioned chess games, climbing wall, bumper car, mini basketball , mini football, table tennis and foosball. A partnership with the Municipal Department of Education will also provide activities with football goalkeeping, target shooting, badminton, hula hooping and punching bags.
