Ingredients:
Apples
4 finely sliced apples
1 lemon juice
1 tablespoon of sugar
Creme
2 excited
1 cup (tea) of NINHO® Forti+ Integral Liquid Milk
1 and a half tablespoons of cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 Box of NESTLÉ® Milk Cream
Assembly
1 package of laminated puff pastry (300 g)
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
Preparation mode:
In a container, place the apples, lemon juice and sprinkle with sugar. Place in the microwave at medium power for 3 minutes. Reserve.
Creme
In a pan, add the egg yolks, milk, cornstarch and vanilla essence. Mix well and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes or until it thickens. Turn off the heat, add the cream and set aside.
Assembly
Roll out the puff pastry and cut into strips 3 cm wide and 30 cm long. Place a little of the filling all over the dough and distribute the apple slices with the skins facing out.
Fold the dough lengthwise over the filling and gently roll it from the tip to the end, forming a rose. Sprinkle the cinnamon powder and place in pie pans greased with butter and sprinkled with wheat flour. Bake in a preheated medium-high oven (200°C) for around 40 minutes.
