The 23rd Settimana Della Lingua Italiana takes place at the University of Caxias do Sul from October 16th to 25th, with debates, lectures, cultural presentations and gastronomic activities. The event is a partnership between the Consulate General of Italy in Porto Alegre, the Honorary Consulate of Caxias do Sul and UCS, through the Humanities Knowledge Area and the UCS Foreign Languages program. The activities are free and aimed at the entire community with prior registration. Places are limited.

– Panel on Italian philosophy and culture, with the screening of the film Life is Beautiful, by Roberto Benigni, followed by a debate with professors Eliane Machado Correa Cardoso (UCS) and Idalgo José Sangalli (UCS).
