All those who serve and receive tourists and consumers in the city are invited to the training. This includes taxi drivers, app drivers, hotel attendants, bars, restaurants and other local commercial services.
Beyond Mercopar
The objective of the training is to ensure that participants are ready not only to welcome those coming from outside the region, but also to provide experiences beyond Mercopar. To this end, the training will include a curation of 15 tips on programs and locations available in the region for the general public present in the city during the fair. “We want to show this audience that we have great leisure options in Serra Gaúcha”, comments Amanda Paim, coordinator of Tourism and Creative Economy projects at Sebrae RS.

Mercopar reaches its 32nd edition from October 17th to 20th, at the Festa da Uva Fairs and Events Center, in Caxias do Sul. In 2022, the largest industrial innovation fair in Latin America brought together 512 exhibitors and generated a record number of R$430 million in business, a growth of 77% compared to the previous year. There were more than 35 thousand visitors and more than 200 hours of content during the four days of the event. The event focuses on generating business and promoting content in segments such as mechanical metal, information technology, energy and environment, rubber, industrial automation, plastic, electronics, movement and storage.
