As part of the Children’s Day program, Floripa Shopping, in Florianópolis, presents an exhibition of Reborn dolls and babies that will delight children and adults. For the first time in the city, this exhibition promises to bring the magic and realism of these incredible creations.
The exhibition takes place during the week of Children’s Day until October 15th, in front of the Renner store, on the L2 floor. Furthermore, it is open to the public so that everyone can appreciate this unique form of art.
Artist behind the dolls
Tatiane Garlini, the talented artist responsible for the incredible creations, began her journey into Reborn art six years ago. During this period, she improved her painting techniques, learned to create realistic details, such as skin tones and wrinkles, and explored different styles and expressions, bringing her unique creations to life.
Tatiane shares her enthusiasm for Reborn art, saying: “Over these years, I have had the opportunity to make many children and collectors happy, and even teach classes for those who wish to learn this unique art. It’s gratifying to see how my work has positively impacted people, bringing joy and delight through my Reborn dolls. I’m excited to continue growing and exploring new possibilities in this fascinating world of Reborn art.”
Details
Each Reborn baby is a carefully crafted work of art, from the painting of the skin to the insertion of hair and eyelashes. Tatiane uses a variety of materials, such as paints, chopped sponges, brushes and natural or synthetic hair, to ensure that each creation achieves a realistic and captivating result.
She highlights that, although the work requires patience, dedication and love for art, the reward is in people’s smiles when they receive a Reborn doll. Each creation is unique and special, making the process a privilege and a delight for anyone who enters this magical world.
