As found by g1, Isabelle Manssanari Teodoro sought care at the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in Fernandópolis on September 12th. At the time, she stated that she had felt pain in her throat for four days and that she took antibiotics without a doctor’s prescription.
Fernandópolis City Hall said that the patient was evaluated, properly medicated and released with a new medical prescription.

Without showing any improvement, on September 19th she was taken to the Base Hospital (HB) in São José do Rio Preto, but died last Tuesday (3). The cause of death was not disclosed by the unit’s press office.
Isabelle was buried on Wednesday afternoon (4), at 5pm, at the São João Batista Cemetery in Santa Fé do Sul (SP). On social media, friends and family lamented the case.
