The Rotary Club of Canela Inspiração, from the city of Canela, completed another social project of great importance for the Canela community. The club donated a new car and kitchen equipment to the Associação Coração de Ouro.
The entity is responsible for the administration of Casa Vitória, whose social worker Joci Mara Rodrigues effectively participates in the projects of the Citizen Support Network. This project is designed by the judge of the 2nd Judicial Court of the District of Canela Simone Ribeiro Chalela. The network is in its third edition and is competing for this year’s Innovare award. The donation totaled R$ 141,922.70.
Global Grant Project
The Rotary Club of Canela Inspiração obtained this amount through a Global Grant Project presented to the Rotary Foundation, which, with the participation of District 4670 and the Rotary Club of Urbana-USA and District 6490 of that country, required the Club only one participation of just over RS 11,000.00 to prove the commitment of the Canela community to the project.
To involve the community benefiting from the project, Rotary Inspiração sold the “Tábua dos Outubro”, and had the participation of Associação Coração de Ouro in organizing the Inspiração Tea Party, with the effective collaboration of the Casa Coordinator.

The vehicle will be used by employees of the Associação Coração de Ouro to visit women assisted by the entity and for other transportation needs. The kitchen, which was set up in the space provided by the Canela Rural Union, will be used for courses that help families assisted by the Association, the Citizen Support Network and Rotary Inspiration to obtain an increase in their income.
