A gym student fell ill and ended up dying shortly after completing training at a unit located on Rua Joaquim Lírio, in Praia do Canto, in Vitória. The victim was identified as businessman Carlos Felipe Peixoto, 51 years old. The case happened on Wednesday afternoon (4).
According to witnesses, the victim fell ill and died outside the gym, but still inside the shopping center where the establishment is located.

He was rescued by a rescue team from Samu/192 on a bench near the entrance to the center, on the first floor. There is still no information about the cause of death.
The body was taken to the Death Verification Service (SVO), in Vitória, and then released to the family in the late afternoon.
By note, Smart Fit reported that it “deeply regrets the student’s death and sympathizes with his family and friends.”
Later in the afternoon, the body was released to the family. The wake and burial will take place this Thursday (05), at the Parque da Paz Cemetery, in Ponta da Fruta, in Vila Velha.
