A Mercopar 2023 is preparing to welcome exhibitors and visitors from October 17th to 20th, and preparations have already begun. The assembly of the structure at the Parque da Festa Nacional da Uva, in Caxias do Sul, began on Monday (02/10), and some restrictions were implemented to ensure everyone’s safety.
Security Measures Implemented
From Tuesday (03/10), walking, running or sightseeing within the park is not permitted. Access to the park will be controlled by private security. Leisure activities can be carried out without restrictions in the parking area until October 16th. During the fair, access to parking will only be available to registered visitors.
Understanding and Collaboration Requested
The president of the company Festa Nacional da Uva, Idair Moschen, asks for the understanding and collaboration of regular visitors to the park. He emphasizes that the measures are temporary and vital for everyone’s safety.
Improvements in Progress
In addition to assembling the structure, the park is undergoing infrastructure improvements. This includes renovating pavilion roofs and floors, bathrooms, internal cleaning and replacing lighting posts.
External Preparations
In the external area, the banks of Ludovico Cavinatto and Ivo Remo Comandulli streets are being mowed. The Department of Traffic, Transport and Mobility began installing signs indicating the park’s access gates.
Since Farroupilha Week, a team from the Services Department of the Environment Secretariat has been pruning trees in the vicinity of the Festa da Uva Park. Flower seedlings will be planted next week around and inside the park.
