The Parobé Lions Club, known for its community initiatives, is preparing for two major events in October. After the success of the SOS Águas campaign and the visit of the Lions LD2 District Governor in September, the club is ready for more actions.
The first event, Vispada Bingo Beneficente, will take place on October 6th, at 7:30 pm, at the Catholic Gymnasium in the Center of Parobé. With incredible prizes at stake, including a top prize of R$5,000.00, the event promises to be exciting. The cards are being sold in advance by Lions members for R$30.00 each, with an expectation of selling more than a thousand cards.
The profits from the event will go towards various Lions Solidários initiatives, including health care, games and snacks for children, lectures on financial education and qualification courses. In addition, the proceeds will also be used to support the Peace Poster Competition, Solidarity Christmas and other charitable actions.

The second event will be the Peace Poster Awards on October 18th. More than 500 students from 17 municipal schools participated in the competition, with each school selecting a finalist poster. All finalists will receive a Certificate and a Drawing Material Kit. Additionally, there will be cash prizes for the three best posters.
