Vans presents the Knu Skool Stack launch, which combines classic style with trends from the fashion lifestyle universe. Inspired by the newest member of the Knu family, this updated version elevates the possibilities of looks and styles through a platform sole, without losing the connection and originality of the decade and lifestyle of the 90s.
Carrying faithful details from its original version, the latest silhouette was developed with an oversized tongue, reinforced ankle padding at the heel offering comfort and stability, resistant suede upper, addition of pulls that make it easier to put on and take off the sneaker and with the Traditional Vans waffle sole.
Just like the Knu Skool, the Stack version features what was initially known as the “jazz stripe” updated in a 3D version. The Sidestripe, one of the brand’s main symbols, was conceived through a sketch created by the founder of Vans, Paul Van Doren, in the 1970s, which in addition to differentiating the sneakers that were already winning the hearts of the entire Californian family – and especially the feet of young action sports lovers – would literally become a Vans trademark.
The creativity and possibility for creating countless styles also extends to the clothing and accessories that accompany the launch of the collection. The short-sleeved shirt in the ginger bread colorway is presented with a logo on the back and typography on the left front, while the cardigan in the bluestone colorway is made from synthetic fabric and features the irreverent Checkerboard print on the sleeves. Combine the jeans with the cap and tote bag made of cotton with polyester lining, zipper closure and padded, adjustable straps.
