The flower shop Oficina das Flores, in Caxias do Sul, promotes workshops to teach how to preserve flowers at home for longer. The first two editions will be aimed at guests, and will take place on September 30th (Saturday), starting at 3pm, in front of the flower shop kiosk, in the external area of the Quinta São Luiz commercial and gastronomic complex, in the Exvisão neighborhood. New editions for the general public are scheduled to take place during the season.
The consultancy’s proposal is that each participant chooses their cut flowers for the vase, according to their taste and preference, from this the florists will give tips and guidance on how to organize them in vases, designed in a bouquet format and mainly how to keep them even fresher and more attractive for longer days. The workshops with tips and care will be taught by two florists from Oficina das Flores and will last an average of 30 to 45 minutes. To participate, the person only invests in the value of the flowers.
According to the co-owner and one of the enterprise’s floral artists, Ana Meotti Valmorbida, the workshops aim to clarify frequently asked questions from the public, such as choosing the right container, the amount of water needed, the ideal temperature and the position suitable for exposure to sunlight.
Also for the spring season, the florist is preparing a special program of different species of flowers with discounts. Interested parties can contact us by telephone (54) 98433.6433 or (54) 98433.6117.
