O ParkShopping Canoas prepares a series of attractions to entertain the kids during Children’s Month. In addition to Park Fun, an amusement arena with slides, trampolines and games, which continues until the 22nd, the mall will have a special children’s program on four Sundays in October, with lots of music, theater and circus, always at 4pm. The attractions are free, upon redemption of the ticket available on the Multi app.
On the first day of October, the Foyer of the Park Events Center will host a special show with three finalists from The Voice Kids of Greater Porto Alegre, accompanied by a band formed and directed by musician Willian Varela. Canoe native Artur Demari, 12 years old; Tay Camara, 14 years old, from Novo Hamburgo; and Luiza Barbosa, 16 years old, from Sapiranga, will give a performance full of emotions, singing songs that marked their time on the program. It will be the first time that the three talents will perform together.
On October 15th, it will be the turn of theater and literature, with Baile das Letrinhas, a solo show based on the children’s book written by actress and director Deborah Finocchiaro. The work proposes a play with the alphabet, in a poetic and playful way. The public is invited to dance with the letters and words, recognizing their shapes and sounds, bringing them closer to the children’s universe through images, live music and manipulation of objects. The piece stimulates and exalts imagination, the pleasure of learning and self-development, valuing respect for differences and authenticity.
October 22nd will be a circus day, with a special performance by Circo Híbrido. The company will mix elements from two of its renowned formats: Sopráveis, with unusual circus experiments with balloons, bolonas, balances, juggling and crazy acts; and the interventions of juggling and aerial fabrics. Founded in 2004 by Tainá Borges and Luís Cocolichio, Circo Híbrido is inspired by contemporary language, seeking references in circus, theater and dance to create new compositions.
And the last Sunday of the month (29th) will have the Toy Orchestra, presenting a show for the whole family, with songs entirely played by toy instruments in fun and creative arrangements. Dressed as toy soldiers, five talented musicians present a repertoire known to audiences of all ages: nursery rhymes, Brazilian folk songs, works by renowned composers, such as Villa-Lobos and Beethoven, and contemporary classics, such as the Beatles.
