Spring encourages the use of light, cheerful and casual clothes. Have you ever thought about how the combination of prints can be an ally in your wardrobe, considering different personalities and occasions?
With so many prints available, there are usually some questions about how to use and mix them. Audrei Russo, director of Adult Brands at Grupo Malwee, has put together 3 tips to help you combine prints according to your personal style to feel good and very comfortable this season.
Which print best suits your style?
For people with romantic styles, florals tend to be more common in their wardrobe. However, this does not mean that this type of print cannot be used in the most creative or classic looks. The ideal is to understand that a floral with contrast, such as a white design made on a black background, can meet the desires of the most daring personalities, without appearing so romantic. In contrast, smaller florals go well with those who like minimalist pieces, for example.
Print background
Did you get to mixing prints? Do not be afraid. The secret, according to Audrei, is to observe the background color of the print, as it tends to harmonize better if it is similar in the pieces to be used. A geometric print on a black background works with a floral print on a dark blue background, for example. The ideal is to progress from the background to the drawings, at which point the lines will be different, but will remain harmonious.
Printed accessories
Plain pieces can work with belts, scarves, and printed shoes. It’s that detail that can make the difference in a monochromatic look. If you want to be a little more daring, add items in a creative style, such as printed socks, with twill pants or a plain sporty dress.
Lightness in colors
In its new Spring 2023 collection, Malwee bet on vibrant prints, especially with floral and geometric designs, to be the highlight of the season. Furthermore, the color palette focused on pink, orange, green, royal blue and red makes the recent launch vibrant, making the season’s looks more cheerful.
Comfort
Comfort is one of the protagonists for this season, through fresh knits, including rib made with viscose from reforestation. In jeans, the most timeless piece in the closet, they appear revamped, with lighter washes and 100% cotton options, with no shortage of options made in the Jeans with 1 glass of water model, the most sustainable in Brazil. Another interesting point is the arrival of twill pieces, with a rustic look, made to save water, as well as new designs with rhinestones, for a retro touch from the 2000s.
