The Nova Petrópolis Spring Festival enters the spirit of Farroupilha Week this Wednesday, September 20th. The Gaucho Day holiday will be celebrated with traditional music on the Rua Coberta stage, in addition to all the daily attractions of the event from 9 am. Entry is free.
Marking the most important date in Rio Grande do Sul culture, the Spring Festival will feature a special musical program starting at 3pm. Singer and guitarist Gerson Müller opens the work on stage, followed by the traditionalist group Serra e Fronteira, at 5:30 pm.
Visitors to the Spring Festival will also be able to see the event’s permanent attractions, from 9am to 7pm. In addition to the Spring Fair and the stingless bee exhibition, there will be a presentation of the play “The Jasmine Butterfly and Her Friends”, by Deluz Atelier, at 2pm; and recreational activity with the Bubble Fairy from 2pm to 6pm.
The Spring Festival runs until September 24th at Praça das Flores and Rua Coberta. The event is organized by the City of Nova Petrópolis, through the Secretariat of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, in partnership with the Orquidófila Association of Nova Petrópolis.
