Creamy launched a blend of acids with a concentration of 18.5% – the first time presented by a national company, which promotes cell renewal through a high-power chemical exfoliation: the Glicointense Peel. The new product was developed for all skin types, and helps control excessive oiliness, lighten blemishes, reduce enlarged pores and protect against acne.
This is the first and only national formula to bring glycolic acid (AHA) in its maximum concentration, combined with salicylic acids (BHA), maltobionic acids (PHA) and LHA (derived from salicylic acid). The main active ingredient, glycolic acid, has a concentration of 14%, 9.8% of which is free acid, and works to visibly improve skin texture, softening the appearance of scars and increasing the absorption of other skincare active ingredients.
Salicylic acid (BHA), present in a concentration of 2%, has healing, anti-inflammatory and oil-reducing effects; maltobionic acid (PHA), at a concentration of 2%, is responsible for standardizing the skin’s surface, offering more firmness, luminosity and hydration; and LHA, at a concentration of 0.5%, helps control shine, unclog pores and take care of acne itself.
Together, these active ingredients act at a concentration of 18.5%, the highest acid strength ever presented by a Brazilian brand. The formula also contains niacinamide, one of the most renowned ingredients in skincare, which offers a sebum-regulating and calming action, to reduce the discomfort that can be caused by the use of acids.
According to Dr. Luiz Romancini, CPO of the brand, the idea of the product is to offer maximum power in the treatment of acne and care for oily skin.
It is worth mentioning that sensations of redness and burning are normal during the first applications of Glicointense Peel, which is why it is recommended to limit the initial use of the product, which is exclusively at night, to two or three nights a week; After this period, it can be used daily or every other night.
