Adriana Calcanhotto chose her hometown to start the national leg of her most recent tour. The concerts will take place at Theatro São Pedro, in Porto Alegre, on July 22nd and 23rd, and feature the show entitled “Errante”, in reference to his album released in March of this year. This performance comes right after his acclaimed passage through the Portuguese stages in June.
The critic Nuno Pacheco, from the Lisbon newspaper Público, described the show as “a beautiful show, marked by the good taste and elegance that characterize his concerts, taking us on a journey through the most recent works, without leaving aside the connections with a memorable past”.
The show’s repertoire includes the 11 songs from the new album, as well as classics from her discography, such as “Mais Feliz” and “Naquela Estação”, the latter is a song by João Donato, Caetano Veloso and Ronaldo Bastos, which Adriana had not sung since the tour of her debut album, “Enguiço”.
Adriana has a talented musical team directing the show, including Domenico Lancellotti on drums, Guto Wirtti on acoustic bass, Jorge Continentino on saxophone, flute and keyboards, Diogo Gomes on trumpet and flugelhorn, Marlon Sette on trombone and Pedro Sá on guitar. Pedro Sá had already accompanied the singer on the “Gal: Sacred Things Remain” tour, a tribute to the Bahian singer who died in November last year, held in April and May 2023.
