O INSPIRATIONAL, fair that united fashion and business between the 11th and 12th of July, at the FIERGS Events Center, in Porto Alegre/RS, had an extensive program of fashion content. In total, 13 lectures, 4 workshops and 2 panels were held, which addressed topics such as diversity, sustainability, innovation and fashion trends.
The opening of the hall was marked by a lecture by the coordinator of the Design and Research Center of the Brazilian Association of Leather, Footwear and Artifacts Component Companies (Assintecal), Walter Rodrigues. In the lecture, Rodrigues spoke about the research Inspirações 2024_II Homo Faber, which aims to show the connection between the manual and artificial intelligence.
Another highlight of the show was the panel Diversity as a Competitive Advantage, which included the participation of professor and anthropologist Alexandre Cerveira. Cerveira spoke about the importance of diversity for companies, highlighting that companies that invest in diversity have 21% higher profitability than the others.
O INSPIRATIONAL there was also a creative workshop with repreve, a sustainable yarn produced from pet bottles. The workshop was given by Daniella Massabki Azevedo, from Unifi’s Marketing department, from Northern California/USA.
The hall also featured a Talk Startups, which presented successful cases of startups Bertic, Easypro Tecnologia, Solleda Energia Limpa and Tendenzia.
The schedule of INSPIRATIONAL was closed with the presentation ESG Agenda and Sustainable Footprint, given by Caroline Capitoni, Vice President of Design and Innovation at Ilegra. Capitoni spoke about the importance of the ESG agenda for companies, highlighting that companies that are aligned with ESG principles have a greater competitive advantage.
O INSPIRATIONAL it was an important event for the fashion sector, as it brought together professionals from all over the country to discuss topics relevant to the sector.
