Trap: the music genre that stands out
Created in the early 2000s in the United States, trap is a relatively recent musical genre, but it has generated a great impact and boosted the careers of several artists, both abroad and in Brazil. Combining the use of synthesizers, misaligned melodies and new onomatopoeias, trap is a variation of rap that incorporates elements of other rhythms, such as electronic music arrangements. Like rap, trap addresses issues such as social inequality, violence, in addition to dealing in a more crude way with personal and family experiences, drug use and ostentation.
With the 1st Trap Serra Festival, Caxias do Sul will host an intense night of music, excitement and performances by the main artists of the genre. Get ready for a unique and unforgettable experience at the Parque de Eventos at Festa Nacional da Uva, in a night filled with enveloping beats and blunt trap lyrics.
