This Friday, July 14th, Orquestra Jovem and Ballet Projari will perform a free community concert open to the public. The event will take place at Projari’s headquarters, located at Av. João Salazar, 250, in Guaíba. Around 150 children, who participate in string instrument, recorder, percussion, singing and ballet classes, will take the stage to demonstrate the progress achieved in the project’s classes.
The show will start at 7 pm and will present a diverse repertoire, including songs by artists such as The Beatles, Caetano Veloso, Dominguinhos, Roberto Carlos, Erasmo Carlos, Elvis Presley, JS Bach, Queen, among others.
Sandro Souza, professor and general coordinator of the project, comments that the repertoire was selected taking into account the students’ level. Many of them started from scratch, which is why a comprehensive repertoire was chosen, capable of contemplating the different stages of learning.
