A celebration of Brazilian flavors — The 3rd edition of Feira do Queijo, which will take place on the 15th and 16th of July, will bring a unique gastronomic experience to lovers of cheese and colonial products in Florianópolis. With the participation of 20 exhibitors from five Brazilian states, the fair promises to delight visitors with a variety of authentic flavors. The event will be held in the entrance hall of MULTI Open Shopping, located in Rio Tavares, and admission will be free.
A variety of products to taste
The fair will not be limited to cheese only. In addition to the varieties from Santa Catarina, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Minas Gerais and Pará, it will also be possible to find products from the Cerrado and Araxá regions for the first time. Exhibitors will bring a selection of crackers, breads, smoked products such as salami, jams, honey from native bees, sweets and cachaça. This diversity promises to please all palates.

A traditional flavor arrives in Florianópolis
One of the novelties of this edition is the participation of Queijaria Balbinot, from Guaraciaba, Far West of Santa Catarina. This will be the first time that the family, which has been producing colonial cheeses since 2016, will participate in a fair in Florianópolis. The cheeses produced by Queijaria Balbinot have already received the ARTE Seal, which proves its artisanal production, and the company’s dulce de leche was awarded a silver medal in the World Cheese and Dairy Products Contest. With five types of colonial cheeses and the delicious dulce de leche, Queijaria Balbinot offers high quality products, carefully produced on its property.
Winter Festival at MULTI Open Shopping
In addition to the Cheese Fair, MULTI Open Shopping will promote the Winter Festival, which will take place from July 14 to August 27, 2023. During this period, visitors will be able to enjoy a series of free attractions, including musical performances, children’s activities and fairs. On Friday, the 14th, singer Silvia Abelin will present the Special Caetano, Gil and Brasilidades on the stage at Praça MULTI, starting at 6:30 pm. At the same time, Fuzarka recreation will offer free activities for children. On Saturday, the TBZ Blues trio will entertain the audience with their music, accompanied by activities and games promoted by the Fuzarka recreation team. The attractions will start at 6:30 pm.
