Dois Irmãos hosts the gastronomic evening at Baumschneis Kolonial Kaffee on July 20th, in celebration of Friend’s Day, starting at 7 pm, at Sociedade Santa Cecília. The event offers a table full of delicacies from colonial coffee, artistic-cultural presentations and a lot of fraternization.
The program will feature a presentation by the typical German band Baila-Baila, the German Folk Dance Group Sonnenblume, interaction with the character Leofrida (played by actress Thaís Backes) and a backdrop for photos.
According to Cristiane Engelmann, from the Department of Tourism, this cultural night is already a tradition in the city. She says: “The event is also an opportunity to socialize with family and friends, in addition to promoting the establishments that offer colonial coffee throughout the year”. Cristiane invites everyone to honor the event and local establishments.
Menu
On the menu will be served: corn bread, wholemeal bread, cuca, thread, wafer, cakes, biscuits, pie, risoles, puff pastry, potato dumplings, jams, cream, butter, pork knuckle, pork nape, boiled sausage, dumpling of meat, sausage, chicken, salami, black pudding, sliced cheese, radish, quail egg, cucumber, coffee and milk. The delights of colonial coffee will be served at the table.
The event is an initiative of the Municipal Administration of Dois Irmãos, through the Municipal Council of Tourism and the Secretariat for Economic Development, with production by Produtora do Vale.
