This Saturday (8) Garibaldi holds the 1st Municipal June Festival, from 3 pm to 11 pm, around Praça Martini & Rossi. It will be a celebration filled with typical foods, musical shows, themed games and much more, enchanting both the local community and visitors.
The festival will feature attractions for all ages. Children will enjoy children’s games and inflatable toys. In addition, all those present will have the opportunity to have fun with the square dance, the rustic wedding, the elegant mail and, the highlight of the event, the lighting of the bonfire. The music will be provided by the groups Baião do Cordel, Léo Oliveira and Flor da Areia, who will perform throughout the party.
A variety of typical foods could not be missing. The event will feature the sale of paçoca, pine nuts, sweet rice, meat pastries, cheese and guava with cheese, quentão, brown sugar, hot dogs, corn and chocolate cakes, sweet and salty peanuts, grostoli, sausage rolls, bread cheese, skewers, sweet potato, corn, sausage with bread, sweets and sweet and savory popcorn. There will also be drinks for sale.
The organization of the event is the responsibility of Garibaldi City Hall, through the municipal secretariats for Tourism and Culture and Education, in partnership with the Parent and Teacher Councils (CPM’s) of the municipal schools (state, municipal and private).
Teams
The Tim-Tim, a 1944 GMC truck adapted to transport tourists, will also be present at the event. From 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, the transport will depart from the vicinity of the party and make the journey towards the Historic Center. Admission will cost R$5.
