Ipanema and Mattel teamed up to launch a special collection inspired by the iconic Barbie doll. This collaboration comes ahead of the premiere of the movie Barbie, which will be released in Brazilian theaters on July 20th. The vibrant prints combine the sunny spirit of Ipanema with the charm of the most fashionista doll in history.
The flip-flop sandal, a classic Ipanema model, is ideal for those who want to rest their feet in style and comfort. With Barbie’s signature highlighted on the inner sole, the products are colorful and feature two exclusive prints available in pink, green, blue and black.
The first print repeatedly features the character’s iconic logo, while the second brings together elements characteristic of the beach landscapes of Malibu, where the doll lives in California, such as palm trees, flamingos and shells.
In addition, the novelty includes the Ipanema Barbie Land Slide, which presents a slightly different approach to logomania, alternating the doll’s full name with the initial.
The sandal has a printed bottom and three horizontal straps, one of which is covered in glitter. It also has a metallic pendant with the silhouette of the character. This model is available in pink, beige and black, matching Barbie’s signature color palette.
