Devon and Bravon breeders who want to exhibit their animals at the 46th Expointer, which will take place from August 26th to September 3rd, at the Assis Brasil Exhibition Park, in Esteio (RS), should pay attention to the registration deadlines. The largest agricultural fair in Rio Grande do Sul will receive specimens of both breeds, both ring and rustic.
For hoop animals, registrations must be made by July 26, through the website of the National Association of Herd-Book Collars (ANC) at www.herdbook.org.br. Thanks to a partnership between the Brazilian Association of Devon and Bravon Breeders (ABCDB) and the ANC, breed breeders are exempt from membership fees.
As for rustic animals, registration is free to ABCDB members and must be carried out by August 5th, directly with the entity’s secretariat. The aim is to encourage the participation of a large number of specimens at Expointer, valuing the breeds and showing their productive potential.
