Next Tuesday, June 27, at 7 pm, the Gaúcha Branch of Instituto Capitalismo Consciente Brasil (ICCB) will promote a live on its Instagram (@cc_rs_riograndedosul) to discuss the reduction of plastic pollution. The event, which ends the month that marks the 50th World Environment Day, will have the theme “Refuse, reduce or recycle post-consumer plastics: towards a more conscious capitalism”.
The chat will be conducted by Daiana Schwengber, psychopedagogue, sociologist and doctor in Social Memory and Cultural Goods. Joice Pinho Maciel, civil engineer, environmental manager and co-founder of Apoena Socioambiental and Projeto Remada Ambiental Manaus, will also participate in the conversation. The objective is to discuss how people and companies can review and reduce their impacts related to the consumption of plastics.
This year, World Environment Day raised awareness about the need to eliminate plastic pollution, under the motto #CombatPlasticPollution. The action inspired the choice of theme for the live.
