The Secretary of Health of São Leopoldo (Semsad) released the schedule of the Mobile Pharmacy between June 26th and 30th. The initiative is organized by Semsad and aims to provide easier access to medicines for peripheral communities. The Mobile Pharmacy is an adapted vehicle that travels to places further away from the Centre.
To receive the medicines, patients need to go to the places where the team will be assisting and present the Unified Health System Card (SUS) and an updated medical prescription. The Mobile Pharmacy team is made up of a pharmacist who provides itinerant care.
The medications available are from the municipality’s basic list and include antibiotics, prescription drugs and insulin. Below is the complete schedule:
