Praça Rio Grande Shopping, in Rio Grande, is prepared to celebrate St. John’s Day with a lot of solidarity, inclusion and fun, and has already placed the little flags in the festive mood.
Praça’s “Sábado Junino” is this Saturday (24) and brings “Arraiá Inclusivo”, the special fair “Arte no Praça” with the June theme, in addition to the monthly edition of “Cine Azul”, the exhibition “ExpoFusca” and another vaccination campaign.
The “Arraiá Inclusivo” is the second edition of the solidarity event at Praça and will take place from 2 pm to 7 pm. It will count on the participation of the inclusive block “Os 100 Limites” and social entities that are partners of the group. The festival will bring back the typical carnival games and a variety of typical foods, provided by the city’s social entities.
All proceeds from the stalls will go to participating institutions: APAE, AMAR, José Álvares de Azevedo Special Education School, Profª Carmen Regina Teixeira Baldino Bilingual School, AAPECAN, Rio Grande Women’s League, Proteja Institute, Viva School and Band Training Center Friends.
The public can have fun dancing square dance and enjoy the music of the inclusive block “Os 100 Limites” and Banda Amigos, formed by people with disabilities, in addition to the show of the singer Vivi Gomes. The June afternoon will also feature the presence of singer Aninha Pires and dancers from Espaço de Dança Raquel Pereira.
“Arraiá Solidário do Praça” has a partnership with Sesc-RG, Senac-RG, Espaço de Dança Raquel Pereira and Unimed Litoral Sul, which will measure blood glucose and blood pressure.
At “Arte no Praça – Junina edition”, which takes place from 3 pm onwards, the traditional handicraft fair will bring together 29 artisans from the city, exhibiting their crafts related to the June theme.
The objective of “Arte no Praça” is to value local artists in an event dedicated to handicrafts. Embroidery, crochet, paintings, sculptures, biscuits, candles and other works of art can be purchased by Praça’s customers.
