A trip to the hospital to treat the flu turned into a real surprise for Stefane Silva, 26, who left the health unit with a new baby. Turns out the young woman was 9 months pregnant and didn’t even suspect it. When taking tests to identify possible pneumonia, the patient discovered the pregnancy and already gave birth to a healthy boy the next day, that is, on the morning of Thursday (22).
– I went to the hospital quickly, I thought I was going to do an exam and then I could go back to work, but the doctors told me that I was 39 weeks pregnant. It was a surprise, I was in shock! Then I was admitted, I spent the night in the hospital and the next morning I gave birth to Theo – she explained, in an interview with the G1 portal.

Stefane is the mother of two other children, a 12-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy. Protecting herself with birth control, she didn’t expect to have another baby.
– I took continuous contraceptives, always right, which added one pack to the other, so I didn’t have menstruation. I felt nothing. I didn’t realize I was nine months pregnant! I got divorced two years ago, I never thought about having a child now – she added.
She even underwent surgery at the beginning of the year for being bitten by a poisonous spider, and even performing tests, even blood tests, the pregnancy was not noticed.
“I’ve put on some weight since then, but not too much. I continued living normally, going out, enjoying, drinking, carrying weight. Including, about 15 days ago, I moved and in the move I carried a stove, a refrigerator, a lot of weight, because I didn’t even imagine being pregnant – she said.
According to her, at first it was a fright, but she believes that there is a divine plan behind Theo’s life.
– It was a scare, but now it’s just joy. A new mother was born. People are renewed. I didn’t think about being a mother again, but I believe that everything has a purpose from God – pointed out the new mother.
