The month of June is known for being full of June festivals all over the country, and Praia de Belas Shopping, in Porto Alegre, a venture by the renowned Iguatemi SA, is not left out of this excitement. As part of the special attractions, the traditional project “Domingo é Dia de Teatro”, promoted every Sunday at 4 pm with free admission, will bring, on June 25, the show “Casamento na roça”, produced by Entreteniarte and the Trio PVC liner. This presentation will be part of a special schedule throughout the day, with activities, popcorn, square dancing and discounts at various stores in the mall.
The play tells the fun story of a family that is about to increase, even if it is by force! With a lot of humor and mystery, the plot brings a passionate bride who wants to get married, but faces the disappearance of the groom. The bride’s father, furious with the situation, decides to find a groom at any cost, and thus begins a hilarious confusion. While the guests are having fun with typical games, the characters are preparing for the wedding, which always ends with an exciting square dance, full of music and the atmosphere of a June party.
What is “Sunday is Theater Day”:
This charming initiative provides a playful and creative world through different cultural activities related to commemorative dates. The agenda, which is free, includes plays, workshops, storytelling, musicals and much more, all aimed at children and their families.
The attractions, presented by local groups and artists, take place on the second floor of Praia de Belas. In addition to all the programming and fun, children also have the chance to win gifts such as cone vouchers, movie tickets, popcorn vouchers and chocolates.
