The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) suspended the marketing, distribution and use of Natville brand milk. The suspended products were manufactured between January and May 2023 by Laticínios Santa Maria Ltda.

The irregularities were discovered after inspection by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA). The company Laticínios Santa Maria does not have authorization for production of the paste, while the packaging incorrectly stated that the products would have been manufactured by a subsidiary.
“It was also found that these foods were produced without proper hygiene conditions and without carrying out controls that guarantee their quality and safety”informed Anvisa.
Natville has already started the voluntary collection of products. Customers who identify the items mentioned should contact the Customer Service (SAC) available on the label.
Suspended products contain the following information:
- Whole UHT milk, 1 liter, Natville brand, and skimmed UHT milk, 1 liter, Natville brand: the product labels contain production information by SIF 549 (Unit for the Improvement of Milk and Laticínios Santa Maria Ltda. – CNPJ: 04.439.268/0003-47) and by SIF 2669 (CNPJ: 04.439.268/0001-85).
