Emphasizing the rhythms of the gallop, the ring becomes the stage for Shop Ginger’s new creations. The fashion brand of actress and businesswoman Marina Ruy Barbosa chose the equestrian universe as inspiration for the moodboard of its new collection: Hipisma.
As well as a meticulously elaborated collection, the equestrian modality represents the harmony between technique and art. With every step, rider and horse come together in a connection that goes beyond words. Their bodies merge and, in a single jump, defy gravity. This silent dance between elegance and strength comes to life in the collection’s new pieces, which feature striking silhouettes and bold interpretations of classic references.
The nobility and majesty of the animal is evident in the Doma family, which references the contrasting colors of an imposing chestnut horse. An elegant tailored jacket, made of mixed recycled fabric, slightly waisted and with a high collar, together with straight and discreet pants in the same technique and fabric, make up this family.
The combination of black and brown tones creates a unity while highlighting the piece’s sophisticated details. Finally, a new accessory, the Elo belt, similar to traditional bits, adds the finishing touch. The show of elegance and harmony is evidenced in the Dressage family, a tribute to the famous “riding dance”, where every step and transition reflects the deep connection between rider and mount.
An aviator-style jacket with velvet detailing on the front and back, plus fur on the collar, sleeves and hem, along with a skirt from the same family, with a beautiful asymmetric overlapping hem, band appliqués with gold metal buckles and a high waist , create a sophisticated look with surprising equestrian references.
The concern with more conscious choices is highlighted in the collection. Pieces in the Equestrian family feature a jacquard fabric made from recycled fibers, with a unique pattern developed especially for Shop Ginger, which depicts beautiful horses appearing to fly over imposing obstacles.
A notable and slightly waisted coat promises to be an attention-grabbing piece, with views and lapels in a contrasting tone, in a proposal that goes beyond the seasons. Also highlighted, the Amazon family brings an unprecedented interpretation of the sport’s classic attire: the uniform is transformed into a sophisticated overalls with a tailored cut, made of cotton twill, with a slightly wider fit and pockets on the front.
The coats also receive a unique version: a cropped jacket, made of cotton twill, with daring cutouts on the shoulders and at the hem. The idea is to introduce Ginger’s refined look to the traditional looks of the arena, maintaining the elegance and harmony so characteristic of the sport.
