Starting next week, Pelotas will encourage professional qualification with the Capacitar Pelotas program. Mayor Paula Mascarenhas announced today the resumption of the program, which will offer professional qualification courses. These trainings will be aimed at people in situations of social vulnerability, assisted by the services and programs of the Secretariat for Social Assistance (SAS).
Before signing the contracts with Senai and Senac representatives, who will be responsible for teaching the courses, the mayor emphasized the importance and the results that the resumption of this program can provide in transforming people’s lives.
Initially, 510 vacancies will be made available in 23 different areas of knowledge and performance. Senac and Senai will be responsible for conducting the training sessions. In addition, the courses will provide transportation and food assistance.
The total investment will be R$ 397.3 thousand and will be made with funds from the National Program for the Promotion of Access to the World of Work (Accessuas) and resources from the evaluation carried out by the Decentralized Management Index (IGD) of the Ministry of Citizenship.
Registration is open to people aged 15 or over, who are registered in the Single Registry and who are literate. Those interested can register from next Monday (5th) until June 30th at the Social Assistance Reference Centers (Cras), according to their opening hours.
To enroll, it is necessary to present a copy of the RG and CPF, in addition to having the PRATI card of public transport. Classes will be held at the offices of Senac and Senai.
