With the realization of the Piquete Filhos da Tradição and the support of the City Hall of Canoas, through the Municipal Secretariat of Culture (SMC), the third Boi no Rolete will be held this weekend, on May 26, 27 and 28. The event, open to the community, will take place at Parque do Gaúcho, located in Parque Eduardo Gomes.
The objective of the event is to provide three days full of gaucho culture, with an emphasis on the rural, artistic and culinary customs of our region, with the aim of promoting and preserving our traditionalist culture. According to Elcion Gularte, director of Traditionalism at SMC: “The event seeks to publicize and disseminate our traditionalist culture”.
The Campeira party will feature a rodeo, dance, lunch, food court, kids space and mate space. Boi no Rolete started in 2018, with the participation of several traditionalist entities in the city. The realization was interrupted in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The third edition marks the return of the project.
