The Canoas Bank of Opportunities, in partnership with the Unisuper network, will promote the lecture “World of Work”, which will take place on the 25th, Thursday, at the Sady Schivitz auditorium, located next to the Canoas City Hall.
The event will start at 2 pm and will offer participants the opportunity to apply for vacancies at Unisuper. Registration is free and can be done through from this link.
Gislaine Silveira, Director of Employment, Work, Income and Professional Training at Smdeti and responsible for managing the Bank of Opportunities and the Job Fair in Canoas, explains that the initiative of the lecture aims to help job seekers to increase their chances in interviews, providing tips ranging from resume writing to how to behave and present yourself in front of interviewers.
“Both the Bank of Opportunities and the Job Fair offer a large number of vacancies. However, we receive many resumes that are poorly designed or contain low-quality information. During interviews, many people don’t care about making a good impression or showing a real interest in filling the vacancy. This can occur due to lack of knowledge, so we wanted to hold this lecture and also discuss how the professional should behave after being hired, ”he explained.
By acting as an intermediary between workers and companies, the director points out that employers take several details into consideration and being prepared for an interview can make all the difference in the hiring process. “It is our responsibility to help and facilitate the recruitment of Canoese workers, and that is why we are carrying out this action to align the interest of companies with the training of candidates”, she concluded.
The lecture will include the participation of human resources analysts from the Unisuper network, who will address the positive aspects of an interview, analyze the labor market situation, discuss new trends and provide guidance on how professionals can evolve and grow within companies. Finally, the analysts will conduct interviews with all participants who wish to apply for a job at the supermarket chain.
