As of May 12th, the 18th Futsal Champions Cup, in Esteio, considered the biggest amateur competition in the sport in Rio Grande do Sul, will be disputed by 52 teams from 24 different cities at the Municipal Gym Edgar Piciconi, located at Rua August 24, 3079.
Today (28), at 8 pm, representatives of registered associations will participate in the Technical Congress at the Bairro Olímpica gymnasium, where the tournament groups will be drawn in three categories: Male Adult, Master 40 and Female, which this year returns to the games calendar .
Since 2011, the Champions Cup has been held in Esteio by entrepreneur Claiton Almeida, with the support of the local City Hall and master sponsorship of Delsol Engenharia. The two best in each category, in addition to trophies and medals, will take home cash prizes. The Adult champion will receive R$ 20,000 and the runner-up, R$ 10,000. In the Master 40, the first place will win R$10,000 and the second, R$3,000. The champions of the Female category will receive a prize of BRL 5 thousand and the runners-up, BRL 2,500.
Portal RS Esportes will cover the entire competition on its website and on the portal on Facebook, where it will broadcast the matches live.
