Directors of Unilasalle and Santa Casa de Misericórdia met this Monday (17) with the mayor of Gravataí Luiz Zafallon and municipal health secretary Régis Fonseca to announce the arrival of the university’s School of Health in the municipality. As of the second half of this year, in partnership with Hospital Dom João Becker, the institution’s graduations will be offered in Gravataí.

For the superintendent of Dom João Becker Hospital, Antonio Weston, the partnership is yet another advance in the qualification of the local health service.
For Roberta de Almeida, teaching and research manager at Santa Casa, more than the university and the hospital group, the residents of the municipality are the ones who will benefit the most.
For the rector of Unilasalle, prof. doctor Go. Cledes Casagrande, this partnership marks the consolidation of the School of Health and also the opening for new projects to be signed with the city of Gravataí.
The Academic Dean, prof. doctor Márcio Michel points out that the La Salle / Santa Casa Health School is the result of the union of two solid and reference institutions in their segments and that in its own name it brings the importance of working in a shared way. The objective, according to the dean, is to transform reality through education.
