The Novo Hamburgo Municipal Department of the Environment (Semam) is promoting another edition of the “Plant a tree” campaign. More than 900 tree seedlings of different species are available for donation, including Ipê Amarelo, Ipê Roxo, Chal-chal, Açoita-cavalo, Angico, Paineira and Pitanga.
To participate in Semam’s “Plant a tree” campaign, interested parties must open a protocol by calling 3097-9400. After that, it is necessary to go to Parcão, located at Rua Barão de Santo Ângelo, nº 1787, in old hamburg.
Opening hours are from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 3 pm. With the protocol number in hand, the interested party will be able to choose the species of seedling. Those traveling by car can use the Park’s vehicle entrance, located on Rua Almiro Lau, on the corner of Rua Júlio Luis Steigleder.
This edition of the Campaign, which started this Monday, the 17th, will remain open until the stock of seedlings runs out.
