The 1st Legal and Real Estate Seminar in Caxias do Sul will feature lectures by renowned specialists on current topics such as Constructive Vices, Building Warranty Standards (ABNT NBR 17170), performance and useful life, guarantees and responsibilities and the new amendments to the Public Registry Law (Law 14.382/2022). Among the speakers are Carlos Pinto Del Mar, Eduardo Akira Sugino, João Pedro Lamana Paiva, Larissa Gonçalves Rodrigues, Manoel Valente Figueiredo Neto, Marcelo Ferreira Lorenz, Marcus Daniel Friederich dos Santos, Marcus Vinícius Motter Borges and Roberto Sukstser.
“The seminar will certainly promote a very important debate with regard to Constructive Vices and Warranty Norms, for example, very current themes that deserve a better understanding and a standardization of language among lawyers, builders and condominium administrators”, he points out. the president of Sinduscon Caxias, Maria Inês Menegotto de Campos. She recalls that the new Warranty Standards (ABNT NBR 17170 ) are very recent, from December 2022, and represent an instrument of technical references and guidelines with regard to guarantees, together with the use, operation and maintenance manual of buildings and specific documents provided by the builder, developer or provider of construction services in buildings. “The event will also be an opportunity to seek conciliatory solutions, so as to avoid overloading the judicial system in relation to actions of this nature”, she adds.
According to Gerenise Viezzer, Vice President of Finance and Heritage at Sinduscon Caxias, the event also aims to promote networking between the public and a select group of speakers, who bring experiences and share knowledge from different regions of Brazil. “For some time we had the desire to bring this seminar to Caxias do Sul, to be protagonists in this construction of dialogues. Eduardo Akira Sugino
