In its eighth edition, Easter in Gramado – Gramado Aleluia celebrates the results achieved. After two difficult years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the event was resumed in full force in 2022 and was an absolute success in 2023. With a duration of 30 days, Easter in Gramado received 400 thousand visitors from March 9 to September 9 April.
There were 360 artistic presentations in Vila de Easter, Rua Coberta and Avenida Borges de Medeiros, in Gramado. A team of 1,100 people worked directly on the event’s attractions. While the decorative ornaments are removed from the streets, Gramadotur, the municipal authority responsible for organizing the event, is already working on preparing the next edition. In 2024, the event will take place from March 7th to March 31st.
For the director of events at Gramadotur, Diego Scariot, the tourist movement, especially in the last weekend, reached expectations. “We are doing assessments in preparation for next year. The numbers were good compared to the last editions. We had an increase in the number of participants in the Corrida e Caminhada do Coelho, the Easter Village was always full, the Senac workshops also had excellent demand and the Easter Parade brought together a large audience on weekends”, summarizes Scariot.
The president of Gramadotur, Rosa Helena Volk, praises the public success of the event. “Our Easter was filled with moments of joy, fun and demonstrations of faith with Gramado Aleluia. For the first time, the event lasted a month. I’m sure it will grow more and more”, projects Rosa Helena.
