Canoas opened registration for another edition of the “Youth Makes Sound” project. The initiative of the Youth Coordination, which is part of the Transversal Policies Secretariat, aims to develop the skills of young people aged 12 to 17 through guitar lessons. Registration goes until May 5th and can be made at the link below.
During the class period, students will have guitars for learning, handouts, training and qualified teachers. Classes will begin on May 16th and will take place weekly for six months, ending in November.
The meetings will take place at the Access to Rights Center, located at Avenida Santa Catarina, 3420, Mathias Velho neighborhood, every Tuesday, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
“In this initiative, we want to fill the young people’s time in the opposite time of school, bring them closer to the art of music and encourage our young people from Canoe to study and culture the arts in the most diverse way possible”, highlights the Youth coordinator, Maria Eduardo Moreira.
