Estancia Velha/RS – Last Sunday (the 2nd), the Bela Vista neighborhood team won last year’s champion in the final of the 2023 Municipal Interneighborhood Championship, organized by the Municipal Sports Coordination of Estância Velha. The grand final took place at Estância’s field and attracted hundreds of fans who cheered at every bid.
Although both teams were very skilled, nervousness affected the game and there were not many goals scored. The goalkeepers of Bar Décio and Zero Grau had little work during the 90 minutes of the game. The 0-0 tie was a fair result given the performance of both teams.
The emotion remained for the penalty shootout, where the star of goalkeeper Jaime do Bar Décio shone, who caught two free kicks from the opponent and gave the title to his team.
The highlights were awarded and soon after the show with Klaus and Fernando took place, to close the great competition with a golden key that brought together more than 300 athletes and thousands of fans, throughout the competition that started in February.
