With the aim of promoting female entrepreneurship and innovation, the Rio Grande City Hall is promoting this weekend the 2nd Congress for Entrepreneurial Women. Diverse programming includes inspiring talks, information panels, trade shows and networking opportunities. During the event, relevant topics such as female entrepreneurship, technology, digital platforms and diversity will be discussed.
The Women Entrepreneurs Network is an initiative of the Municipality of big River to encourage the exchange of experiences between businesswomen of various sizes. The project is part of the Rio Grande por Elas program and seeks to support initiatives that encourage female empowerment through entrepreneurship.
“The objective is to insert women in a space where they recognize themselves as entrepreneurs, to make income revolve around these women and stay within the municipality”, highlights the secretary of Development, Innovation and Tourism and creator of the program, Luciane Compiani White
Recently, one of the program’s actions was the inauguration of a personalized and individual service room for women entrepreneurs who wish to contribute, through the exchange of experiences with the growth and development of other entrepreneurs.
The congress taking place this Saturday (1/4) will provide this exchange of experience between women who want to achieve financial independence and personal decision. The event starts at 9 am and goes until 5 pm, in New Rheingantz.
