The music therapy project for people with autism, A Different Symphony RS, presents `Different Symphony RS on the Road´ on March 28, at 7:30 pm, at Teatro Paschoal Carlos Magno, in Novo Hamburgo. In the show, with Financing from the Culture Support Fund (FAC) of PRÓCULTURA RS, Banda Sinfonia Different will have the participation of children and young people with autism, in addition to artists already established by the public.
“A Different Symphony RS deals with this. Autistic children being who they are, rocked by a repertoire that was developed together and with a lot of love, in order to show that yes, they can”, says Graziela Pires, General Coordinator of the Project and lead singer of 50 Tons de Pretas. The `Sinfonia Different RS on the Road´ tour aims to present the songs that marked the trajectory of the project, which began in 2019, in Rio Grande do Sul.
The band is made up of volunteer and invited artists who, annually, dedicate themselves to performing the project’s musical, which is a super production of a large music therapy session open to the public.
According to Grazi, in the show it is possible to know how music and its various forms of manifestation can help in the development and inclusion of people with autism. In these shows, Banda Sinfonia Different will be formed by Dejeane Arruée (Musical Direction and Voice), Grazi Pires (Artistic Direction and Voice), Andreia Steinmentz (Vocals), Xandy Santos (Bass), João Costa (Drums), William Borba (Guitar and Vocals), Vicente Lenz (Saxophone) and Luis Dallastra (Accordion). The special guest of the night will be Gabi Nogueira.
