This Saturday (18th), Taquara holds another edition of the traditional Handicraft Fair, at Rua Júlio de Castilhos. The event, which takes place at least once a month in the municipality, will feature cement vases, soaps, biscuits, plaster objects, candles, pointillism, patchwork, knitting, crochet, among other options provided by local artisans.
The fair is organized by the Municipal Board of Culture, and has the participation of merchants linked to Casa do Artesão, as well as Associação Mãos que Criam.
“It will be a great opportunity for those who want to purchase decoration pieces, among other products made with so much care by our exhibitors. There will also be animals from the NGO Vila dos Cães for adoption at Praça Marechal Deodoro, in order to direct these pets to permanent homes. Therefore, there will be several attractions for the community to honor next Saturday”, highlighted Mayor Sirlei Silveira.
