The Commented Auditions of Classical Music conducted by pianists Olinda Allessandrini and Tiago Halewicz return to Instituto Ling’s programming. With six editions this year, each meeting serves to discuss and analyze the main influences and greatest composers of concert music.
The first meeting takes place on March 23, Thursday, at 7:30 pm, with the theme of instrumental and vocal virtuosity in the Baroque, a remarkable period for Western production, with established criteria that are still valid today, such as improvement in musical notation and the creation of instruments.
The activity also highlights, in conversations and live piano demonstrations, works by Rameau, Couperin, Marcello and Vivaldi, in addition to operas by Handel and cantatas by Bach.
